- Severe rainfall and thunderstorms have been affecting Karachi, the capital of Sindh province in southern Pakistan, since March 17, causing weather-related incidents that have resulted in casualties and damage. - As of 20 March, according to media, a total of 19 people died, including 13 in Mawachh Goth Baldia area due to a wall collapse, and six others in separate incidents in Karachi. In addition, at least 50 people have been injured in the wall collapse incident, and some others have been evacuated. - On 20 March, more rain is expected over the province of Sindh, while drier conditions are anticipated on 21-22 March.
