WFP Yemen Situation Report 2 (16 February - 16 March 2026)
- WFP food security monitoring data show that 63 percent of the population of Yemen were unable to meet their minimum food needs in January. - WFP continues to expand its new targeted emergency food assistance (TEFA) programme in areas under the internationally recognized Government of Yemen, with 1.1 million people assisted. - United Nations Humanitarian Air Service (UNHAS) flights to Yemen were temporarily suspended on 28 February following the start of U.S. and Israeli strikes on Iran. - WFP continues to call for the release of its 38 staff members detained by the Sana'a-based authorities. All UN activities in northern Yemen remain suspended.
